NetSuite Consultant

Overview

We are seeking a NetSuite Consultant to support backend system configuration and resolve inefficiencies within core accounting workflows. This role will focus on improving how NetSuite handles invoicing, revenue recognition, intercompany transactions, and entity structure.

Key Responsibilities

• Invoicing & Revenue Recognition
  • Evaluate and reconfigure current processes that rely on suspense accounts
  • Streamline workflows to eliminate duplicate steps and enable direct posting between Accounts Receivable and Revenue
• Intercompany Accounting
  • Configure automated intercompany journal entries
  • Enable proper auto-balancing between legal entities
• Entity Structure & Consolidation
  • Implement a new parent entity above the current structure
  • Enable consolidated reporting at the new top-level entity

Requirements

• Strong NetSuite backend configuration experience
• Deep understanding of financial workflows and system behavior
• Experience with multi-entity environments and intercompany accounting

Objective

Improve system efficiency by eliminating manual workarounds, correcting backend configuration, and aligning NetSuite with standard accounting practices.
